Elbow Pain Treatment

Elbow pain often occurs as a result of repetitive overuse with upper limb activities involving the hand, such as racket sports or weightlifting, but is also common with manual or desk workers and DIY enthusiasts, involved in repetitive hand and grasping movements under load. Tennis and Golfer’s elbow, are common causes of elbow pain, which are tendinopathies of the elbow tendons from repetitive overuse.

As a world expert in tendinopathy rehabilitation, Dr Ian Burton has developed successful protocols to help resolve elbow tendinopathy, utilising a combination of highly specific specialised tendon loading exercises, shockwave therapy and load modification.

Most patients are significantly improved within a few sessions following these world best protocols. Other causes of elbow pain can include fractures from trauma and falls, or acute ligament injuries from sporting activity.

No matter the cause of your elbow pain, we will expertly assess, diagnose, treat and help you resolve it.
